The mission of the Women’s Business Alliance (WBA) is to improve the quality of life for women by empowering them in their professional and personal endeavors and/or relationships. In doing so, it is the goal of the WBA to enrich its members through networking, education, community involvement, mentoring of future generations, and community involvement. We have an option to join the steering committee, which oversees the decision-making of the organization.
There are also luncheons and breakfasts once a month meant for educational and informational purposes. We also have recognitions for a yearly scholarship and an Athena Award that honors leaders who inspire women to achieve their full potential. You will also get a free listing with membership in the online Directory.
In keeping with the mission of the WBA, community involvement is a necessary part of the
organization, by bringing its members closer together in both business and personal dealings as well as working within the community to improve the quality of life for all. The WBA works within the community by inviting local organizations and businesses to be part of the meetings and events. It is also a goal of the WBA to one day mentor future generations to become successful business people within the community.
